My husband and me are having a Long distance marriage. I gave him the gift for us to feel more loved and connected. He is living in the states and I am living in Germany. This jewellery keeps us close even though we are far away.

Mateen and I have known each other since we were nine years old. We grew up going to the same elementary, middle, and high schools, and at one point, we even lived right across the street from one another. Life took us in different directions after high school, and somewhere along the way, we lost touch. It’s been a beautiful journey of getting reacquainted, learning who we are now, and creating new memories together. Living in Maryland while he’s in Pennsylvania hasn’t always made things easy. Me and Tyler met in high-school, approximately 5 years ago. Way back then, I had the biggest crush on him. I always thought he was far too cool for me. Little did I know but he absolutely adored me as well. After graduation we drifted apart for some time, but randomly he messaged me one day. My favorite is when I'm talking about him and he buzzes my bracelet. It feels so psychic. Up to today, at the time of writing this we are 3 days away until we officially live together in an apartment. We have been together for 2 and a half years just about. I cannot wait to marry this man. I love him so much.

I was living and working in London, UK, my ‘friend’ was doing the same but in Canada. He had lost his wife to cancer, I supported him, as a platonic friend through his grief journey ( it never ends, I believe). This friend also happened to be my first true love when I was 15-18+, life, life choices and university sent us on different paths for 40 years. We stayed distant friends respecting each others marriages, families and lives, however, he would visit me and my parents and child whenever I was in Canada. I and he never knew thought or planned that one day we would be reunited as a couple.
