Our story began sophomore year of high school. Back then, we were just two best friends who couldn’t stop teasing each other. He used to pick on me constantly, and although I rolled my eyes, I secretly loved how he always made me laugh. Whenever we went out for school, the front seat was mine—my unspoken rule. But somehow, he was the only one I’d let break it. Maybe even then, I knew he already had a place at the front of my heart.

For years, we were just “best friends.” But a few days before graduation, on my birthday, everything changed. He asked me to go on a date—to the beach. The waves, the sunset, the way he looked at me—it felt like the whole world shifted. It wasn’t just friendship anymore. It was something deeper, something I’d been quietly waiting for.

On June 11, 2024, we made it official. After years of laughter, teasing, car rides, and small stolen moments, we finally became more than best friends—we became us.

Julio and I met online through Tinder in the early spring of this year. Right away when we introduced ourselves, his eyes met mine and my heart was skipping and beating so fast. Then I brought him to my apartment for a few days, and as we were talking, we clicked instantly. A few weeks down the road, my love for him was growing strong, and one morning as we were waking up, I looked into his eyes and said, “I love you, baby.” He was a bit surprised at first when I told him that. A month into our relationship, he said “I love you, baby” back to me while looking into my eyes, and my heart was beating fast and fluttering with his love. After a two-month hiatus from each other, on August 1st, he realized he couldn’t live or be without me in his life. He called me and said he wanted me back. That night we got together to rekindle our love and relationship, and from that day forward, we’ve been stronger than ever.

Our Love Story – A Journey Through Time
Thirty years ago, we fell in love, but life took us on different paths — she got married and raised two wonderful children, and I had my own son and life to live. Yet our hearts never truly let go. Years later, while both working abroad, I found her again online. We rekindled what once was, but fate separated us once more. Still, destiny had other plans. After two decades apart, we found our way back into each other’s arms — this time for good. Our children accepted us, and despite the distance that sometimes separates us, our love only grows stronger. Through calls, messages, and precious moments together, we’ve learned that true love never fades — it simply waits for the right time to bloom again.

Of course once I saw that beautiful face pop up I had to swipe left and make hit hard to get. But she somehow found my address. She put a bag over my head and I haven’t been able to leave since! We’re two doctors who met in a hospital in Seville — he’s from Spain 🇪🇸, I’m from Chile 🇨🇱. From the very first day, we felt something special. Distance has always been part of our story: first Galicia and Andalusia, then Badajoz and Seville. Yet every weekend, we’d travel just to be together. We love cooking for each other, trying new recipes, and sharing laughter in the kitchen.
