Honestly, the best thing that ever happened to me was in eighth grade, when I realized I was completely, stupidly in love with my best friend. My wife and I met when she saw me walking my Australian Shepherd, Connelly James. Little did I know that one, "I love your dog" would quickly turn into "I'd love life forever with you". We married just six months after that fateful day. Our connection is epic even though our lives are hectic. I'm a full time EMT and my wife, Vicky, is a corrections officer. Our bracelets serve as a means of communication when we can't take the time to send a snap or text. As I head out of the shed with lights flashing and sirens blaring I can tap my wrist to let V know I'm thinking about her, love her deeply, and will do my best to come home safely. She can tap hers when she's heading into a tense situation or just thinking about what we've built. In this crazy world, we love having the opportunity to stay connected.
